Privacy Policy

Faithful ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Faithful mobile application (the "Service"). This page describes how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the Service, and the choices you have about that information.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your email address and display name when you sign up, plus a profile picture if you upload one.
• Prayer content — the prayer requests, updates, reflections, and prophetic words you write inside the app.
• Connections — the friend requests you send and accept, and the friend list that results.
• Device information — basic technical data like the operating system, app version, and a device push token (only if you opt in to notifications).

2. How we use it

We use this information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service.
• Show prayers and prophetic words to the friends you've shared them with.
• Send push notifications you've opted into (e.g. when a friend prays for you).
• Diagnose problems and improve the app.

3. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:

• With friends you choose — prayers and updates are visible to the friends you select inside the app.
• With our service providers — Supabase (hosting and database), Expo (push notifications), Google (sign-in via OAuth). They process data only on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
• When required by law — if we receive a valid legal request, we may disclose information to comply.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored on Supabase's managed infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of internet transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Your rights & choices

You can at any time:

• Edit your profile — change your display name or profile picture from inside the app.
• Delete your account — at faithful.church/delete-account, or by emailing support@faithful.church. Deletion is permanent and removes your prayers, friends, and personal data.
• Disable notifications — in your device's system settings or in the app's settings.
• Request a copy of your data — email support@faithful.church and we'll send you the data associated with your account.

6. Children

Faithful is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, surface a notice inside the app.
